Medical illustrator Stela Mandel has an M.S. in Medical and Biological Illustrationfrom the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine. Since 1979 she has been providing her many clients with powerful precision visual graphics to effectively demonstrate, simplify, highlight and demystify the workings of the human body, its processes, and the effects of disease. She designs and illustrates for pharmaceutical, academic, publishing and legal clients. Her medical and conceptual illustration is used for exhibits, print, multimedia and the internet.
